FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

(Updated January 9, 2009)

I didn't receive a ticket from you.  Can I still attend the Inauguration?

Because of the high demand for tickets, I was unable to accommodate even a fraction of the number of ticket requests I've received.  However, a ticket is not required to attend the event outside of the ticketed area.  Organizing officials have opened the length of the National Mall and are staging large monitors so that everyone gathered there can have a clear view of the ceremony.  In addition, you can attend the Inaugural parade as well as other events surrounding the ceremony.  Please visit this page for more information.

How do I get further information about the ceremonies, the balls, the parade, vendors on the National Mall, restroom facilities, public transportation, volunteer opportunities, or other similar items?

My office can only answer questions about the tickets themselves.  Questions such as those listed here can be answered by visiting the websites listed in the right column of this page.
