$27.5 billion was included for Highway Infrastructure Investment.
New Mexico will receive $252.6 million in formula funding.
Administrator: New Mexico Department of Transportation
Purpose: For transportation projects eligible under the Federal-aid Highway Program's Surface Transportation program and could also include rail infrastructure activities.
Description: Funds are distributed by formula, with a portion of the funds within each State being sub allocated by population areas.
