Learning Experiences

The heart of the intern experience is in the opportunity it provides to learn new things, both inside and outside the office.

On our first day, we were ``assigned" to a member of the staff, based on the interests we selected on the application form. During our time in the office, we worked closely with that person on a wide range of projects and tasks.

In the office, interns and Legislative Correspondents (LC) work hand in hand on different projects. Here, Pritham Khalsa, an LC, gives an assignment to Eric.

Learning to use the Metro -- DC's transit system -- is a learning experience in itself!
