Dan Alpert
is Senator Bingaman's Legislative Assistant for transportation issues. Dan worked for Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque before joining Senator Bingaman's staff this year. He graduated from Miami
University in 1974 with a degree in physics and from the University of Illinois in 1980 with a Ph.D. in engineering.
Mark Edwards
is Senator Bingaman's Legislative Assistant for natural resources, environmental, and agricultural issues. Mark worked at the U.S. Department of
the Interior Solicitor's Office before joining Senator Bingaman's staff four years ago. He graduated from UNM Law School in 1991 with a Certification in Natural Resources
Law. Prior to law school, Mark worked two years as a community organizer in Albuquerque's North and South Valleys.
