Meet the Seminar Leader . . .
Mario F. Pacheco, M.D. is a participant in the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Fellowship
2000 program and is currently serving as a legislative fellow in Senator Bingaman's Washington, D.C. office. Mario is a board certified family physician and practiced comprehensive family medicine in Santa Fe of 11 years
prior to his fellowship. He is originally from Maxwell, New Mexico and completed his medical education and residency training at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. His main professional interest is exploring
ways to improve heath services access to rural and uninsured families in New Mexico.
