Annie Chavez

Annie is a native of Albuquerque.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Mexico in 1993.  Her coursework at UNM included a period of study abroad in London and Mexico. After 4 years of teaching at Cibola High School she returned to study at the University of New Mexico School of Law. She received her Law degree in 2000. Following graduation Annie practiced law in the areas of Business and Estate Planning with Kelly, Rammelkamp, & Muehlenweig, P.A.  In March 2005 she joined the office of Senator Bingaman as a Legislative Assistant, specializing in the areas of Asbestos Legislation, Homeland Security, Border Issues, Hispanic Outreach, Election and Campaign Law, and Economic Development.
